The function of a hydraulic shear butt welder
Its function is to shear metal materials into the required shape and perform butt welding, mainly used in the processing and production of metal products.
Working Principle
The working principle of a hydraulic shear welding machine involves three main stages:
Shearing Stage: The cutting device cuts the metal material to the same length as the required mold size, saving material and achieving ideal size accuracy. The cutting mechanism mostly uses an upper blade and lower die or an upper die and lower blade structure, suitable for various forms of cutting such as plane, irregular shapes, and irregular angles.
Butt Welding Stage: The sheared metal material needs to undergo butt welding. During butt welding, a high-frequency electric field is used to heat the material to a thermoplastic state using the material's own resistance, and then a certain amount of pressure is applied to weld it together. Resistance heating is the key factor in achieving material fusion.
Cold Pressing Stage: After butt welding, cold pressing is used to reprocess the formed parts to ensure the quality and precision of the finished product. Cold pressing can enhance the strength and hardness of the formed parts and prevent problems such as material corrosion and color difference in subsequent processes.
Application Scenarios
Hydraulic shear welding machines are widely used in the processing and production of various metal products, such as automobile manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, and electronic equipment shell manufacturing. Its efficient and precise processing capabilities make it occupy an important position in industrial production.
